THE HISTORY OF OUR CHURCH

Dr. B. Marietta Brown and her late husband served two Pastors as faithful members and leaders for 25 years before being ordained, commissioned and released to start a church in Petersburg, Virginia in January 1997. The church started with the Pastors, their children and 40 members. They witnessed to the people in the communities. The Church purchased it's first 25,000 square feet Historical Church in 1999. In March of 2013, the Church purchased the first parcel of their second campus and April 2015 the Church purchased the second parcel of that property. The Church operates two locations with plans to open the third campus in May 2016. The Church operates 23 Outreaches, several private schools, the first Military Day School for at-risk students in our area and child care facilities. The main campus is open 363 days per year since 1999 and became known as a safe, trusted place for the youth and people in our communities. Food and clothes are continually distributed to those in need and hot meals are provided to the seniors and youth in need, after all services. The main strength of the Church is our love for God, the Bible truths, love and compassion for God’s people and each other and that same passion our pastor demonstrates and possesses.

Our Pastor and Prayer Intercessory Prayer Team are praying continually. There are a Prayer and Intercession on our campuses 365 days per year and before every service.
